Caucasus University (CU)

The history of Caucasus University began in 1998 when Caucasus School of Business was established. Its motto is “Studium Pretium Libertatis”.

Caucasus University is an accredited higher education institution for students seeking a superior education. It curriculum is supported by participation in international programmes and by visiting professors. Engaging teaching methods are used, and these are buttressed with professional experience programs and exchange programmes for both students and scholars. Courses are delivered by internationally qualified lecturers which ensures the preparation of highly-qualified specialists in various spheres.

CU consists of various schools: Business, Law, Media, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Governance, Tourism, Medicine and HealthCare, New Cinema and Economics Schools. The university has the legal right to award standard and diplomacy specialist qualifications based on Georgian legislation: bachelors, masters and PhD degrees. There are also various certificate programs available at CU, including short study courses.

Caucasus University currently consists of twelve schools; Caucasus School of Business (CSB), Caucasus School of Law (CSL), Caucasus School of Media (CSM), Caucasus School of Technology (CST), Caucasus School of Governance (CSG), Caucasus Tourism School (CTS), Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Caucasus School of Economics, Caucasus School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Caucasus Doctoral School, Caucasus School of New Cinema and New Westnunster College of Caucasus University.

Admission Requirement

To get admission at the Caucasus University, fill the application form or send all the required documents to admission@edu.adastra.ge

List of the required documents for international students:

  1. Copy of the passport
  2. High school certificate
  3. For MA degree applicants, BA degree diploma and transcript
  4. Application fee payment receipt
  5. Video interview (contact us for the sample)

Within 7 working days from submitting, the official offer from the university will be sent to your email and we will be able to start an enrollment procedure. Note, that gathering the documents, translating and notarizing them may take 2-4 weeks.

Enrollment Process

Once the invited applicant sends the personal identification and educational documentation to the Caucasus University, the documents will be submitted to the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement and to the Ministry of Education and Science to obtain the Ministry enrollment. Visa and Immigration

Career Services:
Career development of students and graduates is the main concern of the office of student employment support of Caucasus University

The office regularly offers trainings to students to improve skills necessary for career development. In order to promote student employment, job fairs on campus are held several times a year, where leading companies and the representatives of public sector take part.

Student Affairs:
The center of student affairs promotes the arrangement of student clubs, encourages club activities and realization of students initiatives. It organizes events in order to ensure effervescent student life.

Infrastructure

Caucasus University Library: The library holds collection of educational, scientific and supplementary literature for the specialties offered by the University. The library’s book fund is registered in the electronic catalog. Of the library resources paramount is electronic library comprising literature prescribed in the curriculum.
