Alte University is a university founded in 2002 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Alte University was formerly known as ‘Tbilisi Open University’ before it was rebranded in 2021 to its new name. The word ‘ALTE’ itself means altitude, highest point, and represents the way of constant development that Alte University embodies. The mission of the university is to expand boundaries and educate a person, which will support the development of a healthy, human and democratic society through professional activities or scientific achievements based on the hard work and honesty, for the goodwill of the government and humankind in general.

Within 7 working days from submitting, the official offer from the university will be sent to your email and we will be able to start an enrollment procedure. Note, that gathering the documents, translating and notarizing them may take 2-4 weeks.
Once the invited applicant sends the personal identification and educational documentation to Alte University Georgia, the documents will be submitted to the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement and to the Ministry of Education and Science to obtain the Ministry enrollment. As soon as the enrollment procedure will be successfully completed, the University will inform the applicant of his successful enrollment to study in Georgia.

As soon as the enrolment procedure will be successfully completed, Alte University will send you an official invitation letters which – together with other documents – will be required for the applicant to apply for studying VISA to the closest Georgian Embassy.
